I’m Yessi Pratiwi Surya Budhi. You can call me Yessi or simply Echi, my nick name.
I’m Indonesian born in Balige (a small town) in North Sumatra, just near Lake Toba—the largest volcanic lake in the world. I studied there till Senior High graduation, and moved to Jakarta in 2003 for college at University of Indonesia. Too bad I was not happy with the major, so I withdrew myself and waited for the coming year University entry test. While waiting for the same, I worked at Planet Baso – Dunia Fantasi Ancol as a waiter. Yeah, it was the very time i realized that i have strong selling power.
In 2004, I made it to the college I applied for! So I am now an Industrial Engineer. During college years, I also blog in many channels at Asia Blogging for 2.5 years. It was one of my passion, and I hope to blog more in the future, by marrying it both with my passion in marketing if possible :)
Got accepted to Unilever Asia (Singapore based) in Unilever Future Leaders Programme in June 2009 but started later in Singapore by Sept’2009. Been rotated & relocated to different functions and countries–Lux Skin Cleansing Global, Pepsodent Toothbrush Regional Asia, Pepsodent Toothpaste SEA, Sales in Indonesia and currently live in Vietnam for P/S Toothpaste (local brand name for Pepsodent).
This blog is about my ups and downs in life. I share most of personal thoughts about anything. I love to discuss and share perspective. I like to find new excitement and new things that open eyes and expand my horizon.
During spare time, I enjoy myself most. Travel around, enjoying bits af lonesome when far from families, and do social life to get acquainted. Part of myself is so passionate towards travelling, books, and photography. And these are where I escape most, apart from my private time with Him
